Junkipedia: Cross-platform social media monitoring Algorithmic Transparency Institute
About our organization:
The Algorithmic Transparency Institute is a project of The National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC) a non-partisan non-profit dedicated to strengthening civic life in America.
How we can help you cover the 2024 elections:
Junkipedia is a web application that helps reporters monitor and analyze social media posts across a range of mainstream and fringe social media sites. The platform will provide a comprehensive set of 2024 U.S. election candidates and their social media handles so that reporters can search, sort, filter, and aggregate what politicians are saying online. Junkipedia can be used to investigate specific topics, to track trends over time, and to quickly find who said what on social media, in the context of a particular issue.
You’ll get access to the Junkipedia database and you’ll be invited to training sessions on how to use it.
What you should know:
2024 CandiData accounts will be available at the end of July. The platform itself can be used self-service today.
