From: Muira McCammon

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

I would like copies of all tweets deleted by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Twitter feed (@CommerceGov) from February 2010 to the present. This would include any tweets sent out on Twitter that were deleted or kept in draft form from the Twitter accounts @CommerceGov. This request also would include copies of any e-mails or correspondence regarding the drafting and deletion of these tweets.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I am a journalist whose works have appeared in Slate, VICE, the Massachusetts Review, Kill Screen, and elsewhere. This FOIA request is part of research for an ongoing piece of journalistic work, and as such, I am requesting a fee waiver. I have submitted versions of this FOIA request to other agencies, including the Office of Government Ethics, and in the process, I have been granted this fee waiver without question.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Muira McCammon

Dear Bobbie,

Hi. My name is Muira McCammon. I am the originally requester, who filed the FOIA request FOIA DOC-IOS-2018-000088., and I'm writing you, because the last time we heard from you was on July 15, 2019. In your message, relating to the FOIA request that I had filed originally on October 6, 2017, you noted that you had sent "the operating unit tasked for this FOIA a status email."

I am now following up to make sure that this didn't get lost in the cross-hairs. If it would be easier for my lawyer to call you directly, I can arrange that as well.

Thank you for your prompt assistance with this matter,

Muira McCammon

From: Department of Commerce
