1. Any public records requests, as well as any provided responses or responsive materials, submitted by groups with a publicly known focus on anti-abortion and pro-life sentiments. Please include but do not limit responsive materials to those referencing the following organizations:

- The Center for Medical Progress
- Coalition for Life
- Operation Rescue
- Right to Life.

If there is a group, like a local city group, that has this sentiment but was not listed, please also provide their requests as well.

2. All communications, from Jan. 1, 2015 to present day, between your agency and representatives of the following organizations:

Thank you for your public records request received on July 12, 2019, regarding materials related to anti-abortion and pro-life. DHHS records responsive to your public records request for questions one and two are attached. Please be advised that in question two requesting all communications, DHHS is neither confirming nor denying that there are any complaints. To the extent that they exist, we are not providing complaint records pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 71-444.

If you believe the withholding of information requested is in error, you have the right, pursuant to Nebraska Revised Statute § 84-712.03, to appeal the decision by filing for relief by a writ of mandamus in the District Court in Lancaster County, Nebraska or to petition the Nebraska Attorney General for review of this denial. For the purpose of an appeal, Becky Wisell is the State official responsible for the decision to deny any portion of your request.

We have attempted to contact you by email on July 12, 2019, July 15, 2019 and July 17, 2019 to try and get clarification on question three. At this point due to the lack of clarity and potential breadth of the question and the breadth of the potential responsive documents, we are unable to process this request. Please contact our office to discuss question three so that we may obtain some clarification in order to process your request.

Please be advised that public records law allows for a charge for the actual cost of collecting, reproducing, and mailing the records you have requested; however there is no cost for this request.
