Hi Department of Corrections,
The 287(g) is a intergovernmental agreement (IGA or MOU) for the detention of prisoners in Arizona jails and transferring them into ICE custody. I believe it allows the federal government to reimburse the Department of Correction for any beds provided by the DOC while detaining an individual. I am looking for any modifications to the agreement (it is possible that there have been no discussions about modifying the agreement) due to COVID-19.
I don't know who the custodian or records could be but I found more information online that may assist your search for records.
